FACILITIES
There is a barbecue area, swimming pool, spa and
gymnasium, games room and undercover security car
parking, giving you the peace of mind to relax
and enjoy the many natural wonders of Straddie,
pollution free and environmentally magnificent.
The site is of high elevation and allows for exceptional
views across Point Lookout's main surfing beach.
Direct beach access from the resort is via an exclusive
pathway through the sand dunes to the beach.
Whale Watch Ocean Beach Resort is situated within
a short walking distance to the Point Lookout Surf
Club, which it overlooks. All other major Point
Lookout attractions, including the famous North
Gorge Headlands Walk, Captains Cook's Lookout,
the Blowhole, outdoor cafes and art galleries are
within easy walking distance. Whale Watching at
it's finest.
The township of Point Lookout is located on the
northern tip of Stradbroke Island Close to the
Gold Coast and approximately 20km from the township
of Dunwich.
