PORT DOUGLAS PLANTATION RESORT has undergone a major refurbishment. Built in August 1999, the resort has maintained the same colour scheme and décor for the past four years, albeit with some touch-ups along the way.  But now it’s out with the florals and in with more contemporary colours and soft furnishings in nutmegs and browns. The colour concepts have been designed by local interior designer, Gary Masters.
